UMMAA's 100th

Logo design and campus materials for the museum's 100th anniversary. During the project planning I was granted access to the archival materials and artifact photography. The client ultimately chose the logo featuring an abstract star -- a shape based off an ancient piece of pottery found in the Museum's collection. This project had an challenge often found in academic work -- a really long title. Despite my reservations the typography was approved and nestled into a scrap-book style featuring images from past and present.
